1997 Sea Ray Sundancer
Title: 1997 330 Sea Ray Sundancer, generator, aft cabin
Location: N. Ridgeville, OH
Vehicle Information
Hull ID Number: SERT2506F797
Condition: Used
Features
Type: Aft cabin Engine type: Twin inboard/outboard Use: Fresh water, Salt water
Length: 33.0 feet Engine make: Mercury Primary fuel type: Gas
Beam: 11.5 feet Engine model: 7.4 liter Fuel capacity: —
Hull material: Fiberglass
Twin 454 (7.4 liter) engines with V-drives that include new top-of-the-line props. 310 horsepower each. Recently tuned up. Closed cooling system. Engines have been rebuilt with 52 hours on them and run great. The boat originally has approximately 400 hours on it. Engines were rebuilt because the boat sat for over two years without use and the pistons rusted to the cylinder walls.
Generator for comfort (recently tuned up and carburetor rebuilt). Did not use this much, but think it has about 650 hours on it. (I believe its a Kohler.) I would not buy a boat without a generator. It can be more useful than you might think.
Colors are white, tan, and black. The most popular colors for this year.
Vacu-flush head, hot water, central air/heat, central vacuum, popular salon seating, anchor windlass, head with shower, stove, microwave, refrigerator in cabin, and ice maker in cockpit, tv with VCR and portable DVD player, new Clarion premium stereo with remote and new JBL speakers in cockpit (6-disc changer removed), remote spotlight, new carbon monoxide monitor, tilt steering wheel, halon fire-suppression system, power vent, emergency starts for engines, synchronizer for engines, new zincs and bottom paint, battery charger, power cord, splitter, ropes, new Uniden UHF radio, 2006 color Garmin GPS, compass, power trim tabs. I believe the boat has most every option other than radar.
Full canvass (Bimini tops) that are in good condition with new Eisenglass and a new sunpad for relaxing on the deck.
Cockpit includes one-season-old snap in carpet, ice maker, sink, radar arch, new wood grain steering wheel, power engine hatch, and transom shower, transom door, indirect lighting, swim platform with ladder.
Many decals, pinstriping, and emblems have been installed new in the last year. Boat looks good.
From what I can tell, boat has spent part of its life in fresh water and part of its life in salt water. The last three years have been in fresh water. It is currently in fresh water in Sandusky, Ohio. The only evidence of the salt water that I can see is some corrosion on the windshield frame.
The cabin is very comfortable with plenty of storage, a great aft cabin that can be a bed or seating, the popular salon seating with table which also converts to a bed, and large forward berth.
Boat cruises easily at 32 miles per hour and can reach much higher speed.
